Oops – looks like it’s been a week since I last posted. I’ve been busy, but not with anything more exciting than work and an allergy attack, so there’s not really a story to tell about my last few busy days.
I will, however, tell you that I’ve decided that Brinkley is going to be a genius. You may not think so since he’s 2 years and 3 months old and he still doesn’t talk, but I think he’s just not interested in talking yet. What he is interested in? Is the keyboard. So obviously he’s going to be a musical genius.
Reagan’s new keyboard is conveniently placed at the perfect height for Brinkley. He ignored it for awhile, but he recently figured out how to turn it on, and he absolutely loves to play music on it. It’s very cute – and who knows? Maybe he really will be a musical genius.
On a quick unrelated note, you may notice in the keyboard picture that Brinky’s t-shirt from last summer is looking a little snug. It’s not as obvious from the back, but trust me, it looked like a cute cropped top from the front. So we all headed to a consignment sale Monday night for a few new items for the kids’ wardrobes. Brinky’s included these new shorts and shirt that I just think are so cute – and make him look more grown up.
Isn’t he cute?
Linking up with Greta and Sarah for #iPPP:

Your Brinkley sounds a lot like my Zayah. She’s 30 months and talks minimally, yet she likes to sing (well, hum). I’ve determined that she’s going to be a singer/songwriter.

Makes perfect sense to me
Sometimes genius shows up in other ways, right?
He is super cute and I love that shirt on him. My little one likes to bang on drums and I fear the day a drum set finds its way into our house!

Oh, we can’t ever have a drum set (I say now).
That little outfit is so cute!! I wish we could wear shorts already…or at least, short sleeves. And yeah, he’s totally a genius.
It’s finally starting to feel like summer for real here – definitely a longer winter than usual!
He’s super cute. I think he’s the same age as my nephew who was born in December of 2010. Also not talking. Clearly a genius because he’s in our family. Some kids just save it up and when they do it, they blow everyone away.

Yep, same age! That’s what I’m thinking – he *must* be a genius. And one day he’ll tell us all about it.
Adorable! I’ve found some great things for my kiddos at consignment shops too!

I always love a good consignment deal – especially when they’re still growing out of things so quickly that I hate to spend the money on something that won’t be worn much.
He is just a sugar and to answer your question, yes. Yes he is cute. Adorable, really. How sweet that he loves to play music! Plum does too <3

I think Brinky and your boy would really get along with each other!
Yes, I definitely think he will be a musical genius! Also? I love the names of your kids!!

Oh, thanks, Jen!
aw, so cute. we had a keyboard, but ahem, it’s now a broken keyboard. we really need to get a new one because my oldest takes piano lessons and used it to practice. oh well. I bet your little one will be a musical genius! why not?
We need to get serious about some lessons here – the “just learn from Youtube” approach isn’t exactly working for my 9 year old
He’s so precious and sweet. I love that he’s having fun with Reagan’s keyboard.
