My efforts to have more quality time with the kids, even during the work week, resulted in a fun time this Tuesday night. After playing with Brinky, which involved lots of tickles and laughing, I moved on to Just Dance 4 with my girls. If you’re wondering, even though I’ll be 35 tomorrow (which suddenly sounds old to me), I can definitely beat my girls at Just Dance. I’ll admit that Jenny can now beat me every once in a while though. In order to clear space for Just Dance, we propped up the mattress that’s normally on our family room floor. Brinky was pretty excited about this new mattress position and immediately decided to start sliding down the mattress. So we quit Just Dance and started taking pictures, of course. While Reagan joined in the mattress sliding, I didn’t feel like it was quite my thing.
Note: Ignore the weird stain on the mattress. That’s what happens when you put a mattress on the family room floor. Also, I’m not sure how the dog was able to just sit there and watch. Until he didn’t. Also, no children were harmed.
Just a regular night around here. How did you spend your Tuesday night?

Brinky doesn’t always want to play with his sisters (mostly because they don’t really play with him) and I love it when they find something to do together like this.

Ha!! In one picture, it totally looks like the dog is sliding down, too. Love it! I would be a very popular mom if I put a mattress in the living room.
