My girls are home from school for the summer, and they’re already spreading the joy in the house by fighting all the time. They were fighting all the time before school finished, too, but they weren’t home all day, so it didn’t seem as bad. Fortunately I’m not home all day either to listen to it, but I know it’s terrible. Didn’t they look like loving sisters in this picture I took before Jenny’s graduation last week?
I did a Wordless Wednesday post a few months ago that include some of my favorite pictures that I think showed their sisterly love for each other. So I thought I’d try again. I expect to see some of this sort of fun this summer (they like to have fun with Photo Booth):
But I’m also hoping they’ll have some of these moments:
Look at these little girls! Weren’t they so cute and loving?
This clearly all occurred before Reagan wrote this wonderful post last summer, which I’m copying here for fun:
Jenny lives in evil town on a street called mean street. All her furniture says evil. And all her pictures are of evil scientists. And on her door is a sign that says friends only and all of them are mean too and live on the same street. The end. Good night America! That is the end of my tale .
None of these pictures were taken with my phone like most of my recent Wednesday #iPPP posts, but I’m excited about the return of #iPPP next week with new hostesses, Greta and Julie.

GOOD NIGHT AMERICA. Classic.
I loved my sister…we have rarely fought over the last 30 years we’ve been sisters
but she’s also the baby so…
I didn’t have a sister – I was a girl in between two boys, so I know I don’t quite get it. My girls have pretty much always fought, but they also spend so much of their time together and share a room, so I think it’s pretty natural. They have a lot of fun together when they don’t think about it
I never had a sister, just three brothers. I’m excited to see my two girls grow up together…they are best friends right now, but I’m sure that’ll change!
Thanks for the shout-out! I’m excited to read your post next week!
I didn’t have a sister either, just brothers, so I think the whole sister dynamic is even more interesting to me. I think mine will be best friends when all is said and done, but the teen years may be a little rough
Ha! My girls are 22 months apart and they fight all the time too. Drives me nuts! However, they have their lovable moments…just don’t blink or you will miss them!
Exactly! And if I point out that they’re being nice it’s all over.
