Another Random #iPPP

I haven’t posted in a few days (no great excuses), but it’s always easy to get back in the swing of things with a picture post on Wednesday. Here are a few random happenings from the last week in our family.

This is what it looks like if all three of your children torture you by getting into your bed at night. Reagan up front, clearly a little crazy. That’s Brinky’s blue butt on top of Jenny, and those are Jenny’s arms flying out of Reagan’s head. And Lee and I were under all of that. We got rid of the girls, but Brinky didn’t go to sleep for another two hours that night. I’m blaming the new molar that poked through.

Brinky does eat in the actual highchair instead of the table highchair sometimes. And he loves cheese sticks. The ham that looks like a kind of gross blob on his high chair? He didn’t like it.

This was Brinky’s first experience hanging out in the play area at Chick-fil-a. He liked it. And Jenny was mad that she’s now officially too tall, but I told her I thought it would be fine if she got in with Brinky since he’s not supposed to be in there without an adult, and I didn’t want to climb in.

Just showing you how cool Brinky is with one pant leg up and one down. He actually ends up this way with any pants he wears. It would drive me crazy. I’m not sure what’s up with the very mellow dog in the foreground.

  1. Cute!!!

  2. Cute kids!!

  3. So cute! Hope you are doing well girl!

    • Thanks, Melissa! You, too – happy 11 months to Zane (in case I don’t remember to make that comment on your post today!).

  4. Too tall?!? That’s not fair. But pretty nice for you that you don’t have to crawl through. I hate that part.

    • I was perfectly content to sit and read while they played in there :)

  5. That dog is all, “Oh hell, I just give up. I’ll never have enough energy for this kid.”

    • Haha…he really is. The dog can go a little crazy sometimes, but Brinky has a lot more stamina than he does.

  6. I haven’t been brave enough to take D to the kiddie play areas at the restaurants yet. Maybe if she had a big sister like Brinky does. I’m with you about not wanting to get in those things either.

    • Maybe when she’s a big sister :) I definitely wouldn’t have let Brinky in there yet by himself or if I had to get in there with him.

  7. I would walk around pulling down that pant leg. I think more so because it’s uneven and that would drive me crazy.

There have been many times I’ve picked up my girls from school and they have pants rolled up to their knees. They would never wear pants if they had the choice.

    • It does drive me crazy – I’m constantly pulling that one leg down, but it always ends up back in the same place.

My girls do the same thing!
