Reagan is Awesome

To make up for leaving Reagan out of my Wordless Wednesday post, I thought I’d write a post about how awesome she is. Fortunately, she already wrote a little something about that herself:

Reagan created this at school during Guidance a couple weeks ago, and I loved it so much that I thought it should be shared. I would like to note that while she’s awesome at pulling out teeth, she did actually have to have a cavity-filled baby tooth pulled at the dentist the same day she wrote this. And you know what else is awesome? Her handwriting. Neat handwriting has never been one of Jenny’s strengths, but it’s nice to see that Reagan writes so well.

As further confirmation of her awesomeness, and to take just a minute to brag a little bit about my girl, here’s what her teacher wrote on the mid-term progress report that came home yesterday:

Reagan is a quiet and thoughtful 2nd grader. She is confident in her abilities and does not hesitate to contribute to class discussions. Reagan has leadership skills that she uses to help and guide others. She is a strong reader and takes her time to thoughtfully work on her math. We look forward to a great year with Reagan.

How awesome is that? I’m looking forward to a great year, too. And I’m so proud of Reagan.
